Sucuraj is ferry port on the easternmost point of the island of Hvar. Here dock ferries moving from Drvenik after driving that lasts about half an hour.
During the season two ferries are used and excessive waitings are very rare. If you accidentally wait and want to know if you are going to board the next ferry, count those before you. Calculate that the ferry can accommodate 40 normal cars.
Price for adults is 16 kunas, which is about 2.16 €. Children up to 3 years do not pay for a ticket. Children from 3 to 12 years pay 8 kunas, 1.08 €. The driver must also buy a ticket. The price for the most common car is 108 kunas or 14.59 €.
By the summer the first ferry from Drvenik starts at 5:45 and last starts at 22:35. After that, in case of large crowd ferries will drive constantly and it is possible to deviate from the sailing schedule. In any case, you will pass to the island as fast as possible.
Already when you set sail you will see a lighthouse in the distance, a trademark of Sucuraj. Make a few pictures for the memory.
When you disembark in Sucuraj take the state road towards the town of Hvar and for about 30 km you will reach Zastrazisce. Zastrazisce is a village that you have long hauled along the road but when you reach the bakery on the right side of the road, turn to Vela Stiniva. To your apartment in Vela Stiniva bay which is in the first house on the left, it’ll take you ten minutes because the road is quite inconvenient.
